Throughout this issue of the Clarion are several winter-into-spring poems by Carol Purington. The three-line poems are haiku and the five-line poems are tanka, another verse form borrowed from the Japanese. Carol also mentioned that she received an order for "Where the Schoolhouse Flag First Floated" from an online reader of the Clarion. The family has connections to the Nichols family and is delighted to have found a source of hometown news.

HIGH SPEED INTERNET SERVICE IN COLRAIN

Megatron Data Systems is working on bringing high speed internet access to the town of Colrain. This internet service uses Wi-Fi technology. This service is currently equivalent to speeds offered by Satellite internet companies, and costs less in most cases. At the moment Megatron has 6 customers using the service within our current coverage area. To expand our coverage area will require small 80ft towers be erected in strategic locations throughout the town at the highest elevation points possible. To do this we need help from the residents of Colrain. We need to know who is interested in this service, and where so we can choose proper locations to service the largest number of people.
